Celebration Choir

The Celebration Choir is our worship leadership team, with membership open to adults, college age and older. If you desire to share your faith in Christ through the use of your musical talents, we would love to talk with you about being a part of this ministry. 

Our most vital ministry is in leading our church family in praise and worship of our awesome, loving, giving Lord. He is worthy of our praises!

At special times of the year, like Easter and Christmas, we are involved in sharing the Gospel to our community through special programs and major productions such as the Night of Joy Christmas Musicals and the annual Panama City Passion Play.

The Celebration Choir rehearses Wednesday nights in the Choir Room, from 7:00 – 8:15 pm. Doug White is the director is this exciting and fun group.

Celebration Orchestra

Membership is open to experienced instrumentalists who desire to share their faith and their talent through this ministry.  The orchestra plays on a regular basis in Sunday morning worship and on special occasions like Easter, Christmas, God & Country Day & Camp Meetings.  There are openings for instrumentalists. Jim Colvin is the director of this excellent group.

Ignite Student Choir

 We have an exciting gathering of Youth, grade 7 – 12. They rehearse on Sunday afternoons from 4:30 – 5:45 in the choir room. Youth Choir sings in worship, and special presentations like Christmas and Spring Concerts and tours. Doug White leads this energized group. 

Preschool & Children's Choirs

We have a fully age-graded Children's Choir Ministry that provides musical education, activities and spiritual training for children from Kindergarten through the 5th grade.  Choirs meet Wednesday Nights from 6:00 – 7:00pm. Lisa Crisp leads the wonderful team of workers who teach our children in this growing music ministry.

Ensembles/Praise Teams

 Out of our choirs come various groups which help lead in worship and provide special music for our events. Presently these groups are chosen, not auditioned.

JOY Singers 

The ministry of this group is to go into the nursing homes & homes of Homebound church members & share the joy of the Lord with them through singing of hymns, a short devotion, conversation, & lots of love.  We sing in the fall months and the winter/spring months.  Our outings are fun, and we enjoy visiting with the folks.  For more information call Lynn Briley or the church office.
